Just received information that Orange County has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm Warning. For you Storm Veterans you know what has to be done to prepare. For those who have not the luxury of experiencing a powerful Florida storm I strongly suggest you speak with a neighbor who has experience. Make sure all objects outside your home are secured. Be prepared for power and cable/internet disruptions. Following the storm, those that can, please check on your neighbors to make sure they are alright. Orange County has a great Emergency Management site where there is a lot of information (just goggle Orange County Florida Emergency Management. Any Events or Closures to be cancelled will be done on Wednesday. Dial 911 if you need medical assistance or in danger.
Also, do not place your generator in the home or an enclosed area. They must be outside!
