Communications - The BOD will be holding a required quarterly FYI Meeting on July 1, 2024 at 6:30 PM in the Clubhouse. The Regular July Board meeting has been cancelled and will be re-scheduled.

  1. Approved Richard Jones as the Dock Master for Lake Grassmere. The CA appointed him as the Dock Master for Little Lake Cohn and Lake Cohen.

  2. Appointed Sally Daughtry to the Golf Committee. Sally brings much experience and knowledge to the committee.

  3. The BOD's ratified the Poll Vote to Dredge the retention pond on Hole 9. $7,500.00. Due to the drought the pond experienced significant foliage growth blocking the ability of the water to drain efficiently into the pond. If not dredged the pond would eventually erode the sidewalls and flood Hole 9.

  4. The BOD's ratified a Poll Vote to approve the sale of a Co-Op owned lot located at 2557 Amyris Ct. for $30,000. The Board also discussed that in the future lots should be offered at current market value.

  5. Approved repair of Pro-Shop cart parking lot. Vendor: Everline Surfacing of Orlando for $6,095.00. (Following the meeting The Property Manager called them to schedule and they pulled their bid for the job. The Board will begin to acquire new Bids on Monday)

  6. The Board approved the changes to the "3 Year Lease".

  7. The Board approved for the Property Manager to acquire three new copy machines through the current vendor. The Board in 2021 approved a 63 month lease contract with Image Net for three copiers. We currently have 24 months left in the contract. The current copiers are now in constant disrepair and downtime. Image net has offered to waive the remaining two years and provide three new machines for 48 months. The monthly cost is $2,515.62. This is estimated to save the Co-Op $2,771.04 over the term of the contract.

  8. Correct GL Account # for Irrigation Item purchased at May meeting.

  9. President Snell stated that a Cigar Vendor has approached us with intertest in selling packaged cigars in the Pro Shop. The Pro Shop would receive a commission for the sales. Several other Golf Courses in the area sell cigars. At the June 21st Executive Board meeting the Board approved the addition of a Tobacco Stamp be added to our Liquor License. Cost $50.00. The purpose of this agenda item was for discussion only.
