Good News - Center Property

For the past two years we have been in litigation with Orange County regarding the Center property tax issue.  When we first took office the Center Property was taxed at $30,000 annual. From 2022-2025 the property taxes had increase to $90,784.00 annual.  

Today we received notification from Orange County that the new tax rate is $1.60 annual.  This means the Center Property is no longer zoned residential.  The Center Property is now "Common Property."  Our tax bill for next year is $1.60

According to our attorney we should receive an estimated $171,000.00 in past paid taxes from the County.

Can we use some of the money we are getting back from the county and use it for improving the golf course?
