Cohen Dr. Storm Water Drainage Issue

The Storm Drain on Cohen Dr. near Cayman Cir. will be repaired by April 21, 2024. The drain requires a new drain box to be installed as the old box collapsed. This issue was identified in November of 2021 and contractor quote was accepted at the May 2022 Board Meeting. This January 2024 the contractor finally began the work. The original approved cost in 2021 was $6,264.00 to tie the pipes together. When the area was excavated (January 2024) the pipes could not be tied together and a drain box is required increasing the cost to $11,287.00.
